R. Townley Paton Fellowship | The Eye-Bank for Sight Restoration

The Eye-Bank for Sight Restoration R. Townley Paton Fellowship is a $10,000 merit award for research in ophthalmology. The Eye-Bank established the R. Townley Paton Fellowship to encourage basic science and clinical research to discover possible treatments and cures of blinding eye diseases to meet today’s needs for innovative research.

The Fellowship is open to all ophthalmology disciplines and vision sciences located within the service area of The Eye-Bank.

Applicant Criteria

The applicant must be a graduate from an accredited medical school, school of osteopathic medicine, or holder of ECFMG certificate, current candidate or graduate of a PhD program.
The fellowship must take place within The Eye-Bank’s service area of New York City, Long Island and the Lower Hudson Valley.
Deadline for submission is October 15.
